When Kobus and Gerda started farming here on the Kalahari family farm in 2014, they realised from the start that Tevrede was ideally situated to become an overnight haven for tourists. It is close to the R31, you simply drive through the gate for a few meters through the dried up Kuruman river and you’ll be surrounded with Camel Thorn trees and red sand dunes.
Immediately you can relax, kick off your shoes and light the fire with a nice glass of red wine. You’re surrounded with nature and would be able to see the whole galaxy full of stars.
Tevrede was established in 2015. Three years of hard work paid off. Our dream came true when Tevrede self-help accommodation was established.
